Gucci used tears again in their ready to wear collection the next year (here’s the link if you are interested https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/fall-2020-ready-to-wear/gucci/slideshow/collection#3) I found it interesting how tears are used as a ‘ready to wear’ accesory.
I also found really interesting what you wrote ‘tears as a product’. Anne Boyer wrote in The Undying ‘I would rather write about anything else, not only for fear of the pain of examining the pain, but also for fear of turning the pain into a product’.
